In conjunction with the exhibition Inlandia at Chaffey College’s Wignall Museum of Contemporary Art, I was asked to contribute a piece that reflected on the Inland Empire, a large suburban area east of Los Angeles.

I decided to continue exploring a topic from an earlier project and again took to the streets to document and interview people that twirl signs by the side of the road.

The installation consisted of two opposite video projections. The stories of the sign twirlers are shown as subtitles.
